from valley center to warner

"Between the ages of 5 and 11 or so, most Sundays, my father, my mother, and myself would take a drive from our house on the hill in Valley Center to the mountains or to the desert. Although this is part of my adolescence series, these pictures were taken along the same route we took on what seemed like a regular basis. After the age of 11, my parents split up but that same route was taken with various members of my family, mostly to the desert for the occasional holiday spent in motorhomes and riding motorcycles. My cousin still lives in Valley Center near the beginning of this route and her daughter Hannah is in several of these photographs." -glen erier
